36th Yoshida Town Port Festival & Fireworks Display

The "Yoshida Town Port Festival & Fireworks Display," which closes out the summer in Yoshida Town, Shizuoka Prefecture, will be held at Yoshida Fishing Port on Sunday, August 23, 2026. In this 36th edition, approximately 2,000 fireworks synchronized with music will be launched for about 40 minutes starting at 20:00. At the open location unique to a fishing port, you can enjoy dynamic fireworks where music and the light reflected on the sea surface come together. As a summer-ending tradition visited by many people, this fireworks display adds color to a special night as the final summer fireworks of the year. Since congestion around the venue is expected on the day, the use of free shuttle buses is recommended. In case of severe weather, it is scheduled to be postponed to the following day or later, with postponement information announced at 12:00 PM on the day via the town website and official LINE. Access is about 15 minutes from the Tomei Expressway Yoshida IC, but when using public transportation, it is necessary to transfer to a bus from JR Shimada Station or Fujieda Station.
