About this event
The immensely popular Sukesuke Exhibition is back and scaled up: Special Exhibition Sukesuke Exhibition 2: The World of Mechanisms Revealed through Transparency is an exhibition where visitors can explore the internal structures of living creatures and everyday objects through transparency (sukeru) and have fun learning how they work. In an era where things are increasingly becoming black boxes, this exhibition brings surprise and discovery regarding the unseen inner workings and the relationship between the outside and the inside through digital-powered see-through experiences, cross-section displays, and video content. It encourages people to look at internal mechanisms they normally do not pay attention to, stimulating curiosity across generations from children to adults. In this sequel, Sukesuke Exhibition 2, two new sections—Nature Sukesuke and Invisible Sukesuke—have been added to provide even more see-through experiences. Through diverse exhibits such as a zone exploring the mechanisms inside the human body, a zone peeking into the internal structures of various creatures, a zone revealing the internal structures of familiar objects, and a zone exploring the wonders of nature, visitors can spend a time filled with discoveries that tickle intellectual curiosity.
