"Swan Lake" depicts the love and destiny of Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette, who was transformed into a swan by a curse. Set against a fantastical moonlit lake, highlights of this classical ballet include the refined beauty of swans dancing in unison, pas de deux shining with delicate adagio and brilliant technique, and the sophisticated expressiveness required to dance the dual roles of the White Swan Odette and the Black Swan Odile.
