About this event
The 'Potato Festival' held in Kenbuchi Town, Hokkaido, is an event where visitors can enjoy not only potatoes, but also dishes made with seasonal vegetables and quinoa. An all-you-can-stuff bag of 20 varieties of potatoes is offered at 500 yen per bag, alongside an array of delicious items such as recommended sweets and traditional baked sweet potatoes. Items are available until sold out, so early arrival is recommended. In addition, answering a questionnaire allows participation in a lottery with chances to win rice, quinoa, and meal vouchers valid on the day. Held in conjunction with Kenbuchi Peru Day, the event also features dishes made with vegetables native to Peru, as well as the sale of vegetables, processed foods, and local specialties. In addition to the potato stuffing and lottery, there will be an introduction and storytelling session of picture books presented by the Embassy of Peru. It is an event to discover brand-new delicious tastes while enjoying Kenbuchi's delicious vegetables and new information about Peru all at once.
