20th Asian Games Golf Competition

The "20th Asian Games (2026 / Aichi-Nagoya) Golf Competition," held over four days from September 30 to October 3, 2026, at the East Course of Kasugai Country Club in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, is an international tournament bringing together Asia's top golfers. The competition features individual and team events, contested in 72-hole stroke play over four days at 18 holes per day. For the team event, each team's score is calculated by adding the two best scores among three players for both men and women each day, with victory determined by the total score across the four days. From Japan, Taishi Moto, a JGA National Team member, joins professional players on the men's side, while Ai Goto, Aira Nagasawa, and Mamika Shinchi have been selected as TEAM JAPAN candidate athletes for the women's side, aiming for a team gold medal for the men since the 2018 tournament and a first-ever team gold medal for the women. Kasugai Country Club East Course, the venue for the tournament, is a historic golf club opened in 1964 that underwent renovation in 2024 to transform into a world-class course combining beauty, strategic depth, and sustainability. Exciting battles led by the players shaping the Asian golf scene are eagerly anticipated.
