Lake Mikawa Fireworks

About this event

Started in 2022, the Lake Mikawa Fireworks will be held at Mikawa Lake Terrace Korin and Habu Dam in Onidaira, Habu-cho, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture. The fireworks, launched from the opposite bank of Karenmisaki on the shores of Lake Mikawa, allow visitors to enjoy the beautiful reflection of fireworks on the lake surface against a pitch-black night sky, as there are few houses and no streetlights around. Because of its high altitude location, another attraction is that you can watch the fireworks comfortably in cooler conditions than in the city. The event hours are undecided, but will be updated as needed. Since there is no parking around the venue, transportation from the parking lot to the venue will be by shuttle bus. Please refrain from street parking. For wheelchair users or those with difficulty walking, separate parking will be arranged with prior contact. Reserving spots in advance inside the venue and the sale of alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Please take your garbage home with you. Please note that traffic restrictions will be in effect between Karen-no-Yakata and Gensekizan from 14:30 to 19:30 (scheduled).
