About this event
Held around Miyazaki Fishing Port in Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture, the 'Kira Fireworks Festival' originated from a traditional festival continuing since the Edo period, praying for good catches and safety at sea. In a prime location set against Mikawa Bay, approximately 3,000 fireworks will be launched. Colorful starmines, diverse fireworks launches, and set-piece fireworks gorgeously illuminate the nighttime beach, and the fireworks launched from close range are full of power. The event will proceed in light rain, but will be postponed to the following day in case of severe weather.
