About this event
The once-a-year annual festival of Yaotomi Shrine, featuring a total of 17 floats from each district. On the first day, the floats parade through the districts, and on the second day, a procession into the worship hall (yohaijo) takes place. The parish area will be lively with ritual dance dedications by each district, hand-held fireworks on the first day, and rice cake scattering on the second day. On Day 1, the Yaotomi Shrine Annual Festival will be conducted at the main hall from 10:00, the sacred fire procession from 15:30, and the dedicated fireworks (launched at Takeshima Bridge) from 18:30 to 20:00. On Day 2, the float procession and dedication of the Seven Lucky Gods dance will be held at Yaotomi Shrine Yohaijo from 10:30.
