About this event
The 'Momiji Matsuri' held at Jakko-in Temple in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture, is so renowned as a famous autumn foliage spot that it is nicknamed 'Owari's Autumn Leaf Temple.' Approximately 1,000 maple trees are planted here, with particularly many giant trees, and the sight of the finely divided leaves turning vivid colors is breathtaking. Visitors can enjoy spectacular autumn foliage that is truly worth seeing. The festival-exclusive 'Ayuha Sushi' (rolled sushi with sweet-simmered sweetfish) is a specialty dish that attracts popularity every year. The prime viewing spots are around the main hall and along the approach leading to the main hall.
