About this event
The Tahara City Cultural Festival is a venue to showcase the results of cultural activities by citizens, held at Tahara Cultural Hall and Atsumi Cultural Hall. In the exhibition, a wide variety of works such as paintings, calligraphy, photographs, and crafts will be on display. An ikebana (flower arrangement) exhibition will also be held concurrently, where visitors can enjoy beautiful flower arrangements. At the performing arts showcase, stages will be presented demonstrating the results of daily practice in music, dance, theater, and more. Furthermore, a citizens' tea ceremony will be hosted, allowing guests to experience traditional Japanese culture while savoring tea. Admission is free, but a tea ticket is required to participate in the tea ceremony. The application deadline for artwork exhibitors and performing arts participants is Friday, September 25, Reiwa 8 (2026).
