About this event
Held on Monday (national holiday), November 23, 2026, "Kids Town Kitanagoya" is an event where children become residents of the town, experience jobs, and use the event currency "Niko-chan" to enjoy shopping, learning how society works in a fun way. It takes place on Labor Thanksgiving Day during the commemorative year marking the 20th anniversary of Kitanagoya City's municipal organization. It aims to be a special day for the children who will lead the town's future, helping them feel "the fun of working," "the significance of doing one's best for someone else," and "a sense of gratitude." On the day, in addition to regular work experience, programs designed to help children experience the joy of working and real connections with society are planned. Detailed information on vendor booths and participation methods will be released sequentially.
