Kota Town Comprehensive Disaster Preparedness Drill
Japanese name:幸田町総合防災訓練
📅 Sat, Sep 5, 2026
About this event
In preparation for large-scale disasters such as a Nankai Trough earthquake, Kota Town is conducting a comprehensive, practical disaster preparedness drill involving government agencies, private companies, voluntary disaster prevention organizations, fire brigades, volunteer groups, and local residents. The goal is to establish early response and mutual support systems during earthquakes and disasters, as well as to raise disaster prevention awareness among residents. This serves as an important opportunity to learn actions that protect the lives of yourself and your family. The drill will also include activities such as a simultaneous water discharge firefighting exercise by participants. Many people are encouraged to attend.
