"Corepa! in Tsu Matsuri 2026" is an event held in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture. It features cosplay photography, itasha (character-decorated cars) displays, and booth stalls. This event is held in collaboration with the Tsu Matsuri, Mie Prefecture's traditional grand festival boasting over 390 years of history. Originating as a festival of Tsu Hachimangu Shrine, the Tsu Matsuri bustles with many visitors as a rare nationwide grand festival that merges the old and the new, presenting traditional performing arts such as "Tojin Odori", "Shagouma", "Hachiman Shishimai", and "Irie Wakabayashi", alongside the "Takatora Daiko", the Japanese boat float "Anotsumaru", and "Anotsu Yosakoi". At "Corepa! in Tsu Matsuri 2026", the main appeal is that you can experience subcultural elements such as cosplay and itasha while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the Tsu Matsuri.
