Kodomo Yokkaichi 2026

About this event

"Kodomo Yokkaichi 2026" is a hands-on event where children build a town with their own hands. Children can do "jobs" to earn "Yo" (the dedicated currency for Kodomo Yokkaichi) and use it to enjoy shopping. It is also possible to build shops out of cardboard and experience running a "business." While this event is primarily aimed at elementary school students, hands-on activity corners for toddlers and preschoolers are also prepared. Advance registration is not required, and registration will take place on the day of the event. It provides an opportunity for children to have fun learning about creativity and the basics of economic activity.
