About this event

On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the "4th Wakuwaku Night Market" will be held in the Mitsuyabashi and Umamichi area of Kuwana City. The event hours are from 12:00 to 20:00, and admission is free. Special guest Yusuke Yamamoto will make an appearance, participating in greetings with the Mayor of Kuwana and various programs. The annually popular bingo tournament will be held twice, once during the day and once in the evening; bingo cards will be sold for 500 yen each, limited to the first 1,000 cards per session. Prizes are scheduled to include "Switch 2," theme park tickets, and travel vouchers. "Pokemon Card Original Packs" (Oripa) will also be featured, with a total value equivalent to 650,000 yen available for junior high school students and younger, sold at 300 yen per pack for the first 2,000 packs. The venue will also host festival games like target shooting and ring toss, a giant inflatable bounce play structure, an amateur singing contest ("Nodo-jiman") starting at 15:30, and a Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament at 19:15 to determine the "Luckiest Man and Woman in Kuwana." Over 15 food trucks and tent stalls will line up, offering a wide variety of gourmet dishes and sweets including yakisoba, curry, crepes, candy apples, and shaved ice. Alcoholic beverages will also be on sale. Access to the venue is about a 2-minute walk from Kintetsu Masuo Station and about a 10-minute walk from Kintetsu/JR Kuwana Station. Since there is no dedicated event parking, visitors are encouraged to use public transportation. Traffic restrictions around the venue are scheduled from 7:00 to 22:00 on the day of the event. With bingo, festival games, stage programs, and gourmet food, it promises to be a day packed with fun for everyone from children to adults.
