13th Owase Fish Festival (Concurrent with Itadaki Market)

A fish festival unique to the fish town of Owase where you can "see, touch, and eat" to your heart's content. Held at the Owase Fish Market, it is packed with events to get close to fish, including fresh fish sales, a mini aquarium, touch pools, and a tuna carving show. The popular morning market "Owase Itadaki Market" will be held concurrently, allowing visitors to savor fresh fish while fully enjoying the charm of Owase. Scheduled events for the day include fresh fish sales, mini aquarium/touch pools/fish scooping, a tuna weight guessing quiz, a tuna carving show (advance registration required), and tasting corners (fresh fish sashimi, Oshiki soup, dried fish, tuna sashimi). Owase Itadaki Market will feature Owase-exclusive delicacies such as fresh seafood and dried fish.
