About this event
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the excavation of the Toba-ryu dinosaur, the "2nd Hot-Blooded! Dinosaur Sports Day in Toba 2026" is a unique sports festival centered around Tyrannosaurus races, held at Chidorigahama Beach. In addition to the main Tyrannosaurus race, an obstacle race and a giant ball rolling contest—both of which were very popular last year—are scheduled, along with a newly added beach flag race. Participants wear Tyrannosaurus suits to compete, bringing excitement to the venue. Spectating is free of charge, but prior registration is required to participate in the races. The capacity is limited to the first 100 people, and the application deadline is Friday, September 25, at 17:00. The sight of powerful dinosaurs in action is the highlight of the event day.
