The "11th Special Exhibition: Iga Shin-Daibutsu-ji Temple" held at the Ohyamada Local History Museum in Tominaga, Iga City, Mie Prefecture, will run from Saturday, July 18, 2026, to Sunday, August 30, 2026. Opening hours are from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Admission is free, but the museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. This special exhibition is expected to feature displays focusing on the history and cultural assets of Iga Shin-Daibutsu-ji Temple. In connection with the special exhibition, a commemorative lecture titled "History and Cultural Assets of Shin-Daibutsu-ji Temple" will be held on Saturday, August 1, at 2:00 PM at the Shin-Daibutsu-ji Chogenkaku within the museum. The lecture has a capacity of 30 people, and the participation fee is 300 yen (including admission to the treasure house). Applications to participate will be accepted starting July 3.
