About this event
Under the theme of "Rediscovering Iga's People, Things, Town, and Life," this lively summer event is held throughout central Iga City. From daytime into the evening, it is packed with street markets and various performances that families and friends can enjoy. The venue features "Rakuichi" for merchandise sales and "Rakuza," a stage for presentations by individuals, hobby groups, companies, and organizations. A diverse lineup of activities is planned, including stage performances, street entertainment, exhibitions, rakugo (comic storytelling), and portrait drawing. Food trucks serving delicious food are also scheduled to open. The event will proceed rain or shine, but may be canceled in case of stormy weather.
