The 59th Toin Town Cultural Festival

This is a call for exhibition entries for the 59th Toin Town Cultural Festival. Eligible participants are town residents, members of the Cultural Association (professionals and amateurs alike), and instructors/students of the Reiwa 8 (2026) Community Center Courses. Works must be previously unreleased at the Town Cultural Festival. Organizations may submit 1 work per affiliated group, up to a maximum of 3 works. Individuals may submit 1 work per category, up to a maximum of 2 works. Community Center Course students may submit up to 1 work per course. The exhibition period is divided into two phases: the first term runs for 5 days from Saturday, October 24 to Wednesday, October 28, and the second term runs for 4 days from Thursday, October 29 to Sunday, November 1. There are no closed days during the event period. Exhibition hours are from 9:00 to 17:00, but open from 13:00 on the first day and close at 16:00 on the final day of each term. The venue is the Toin Town Comprehensive Cultural Center. The application period runs from Wednesday, August 5 to Wednesday, August 26, 2026. To apply, submit the application form available at the Comprehensive Cultural Center, Town Hall Main Entrance, Toin Town Gymnasium, Sasao Community Center, or Cultural Association Office—or a designated application form—to the Cultural Association Office (submission via FAX or email is accepted). For group or Community Center Course entries, an exhibitor roster must also be submitted. An exhibitor briefing session will be held on Wednesday, September 16 at 15:00 in Lecture Rooms 1 and 2 on the 2nd floor of the Toin Town Comprehensive Cultural Center. An exhibition review meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 11 at 15:00 in the Cultural Association Office Coordination Room of the Toin Town Comprehensive Cultural Center Annex.
