About this event
"Komo-Gaku 2026" is a learning and exchange event themed around the rich nature, culture, and future of Komono Town, Mie Prefecture. Located at the foot of Mt. Gozaisho, Komono Town is a community where agriculture, commerce, industry, and tourism thrive. With a population exceeding 40,000, it is undergoing major changes alongside expressway developments. This event aims to help every resident discover the "true Komono," rediscover its charms, and increase the number of people involved with the town. Visitors can engage with Komono Town's unique resources, including special programs commemorating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Banko ware founder Rozan Nunonami, Yunoyama Onsen with its 1,300-year history, and the Gozaisho Ropeway offering nature enjoyment year-round. It provides opportunities for learning to think together about a conscientious future, promote proactive resident participation, and strive toward a town brimming with kindness.
