About this event
Commemorating their 45th anniversary, "Kodo One Earth Tour 2026 'Haruka -'" is the latest work directed by Yuki Hirata. It expresses a hopeful, bright world where joy spreads. By superimposing Kodo's past, present, and future onto the resonance of taiko drums, it delivers a celebratory moment enveloped in blessings. Starting from Asakusa, this tour travels nationwide from summer through autumn. In September and October, the stage shifts from western Japan to Hokkaido, with some cast members changing since the July tour to present a stage with a different flavor. Along with the message that the sound of taiko has connected people across all eras, it brings heart-stirring, joy-filled sounds of hope. The performance duration is scheduled to be approximately 90 minutes (with an intermission).
