"Mizu no Japan Coffee Festival in Kinomoto" is an event where coffee shops set up stalls across local houses, shops, schools, shrines, and other venues, centered around the Hokkoku Kaido Shopping Street. This event takes advantage of the unique character of the "Kinomoto" area, where many residents still live using groundwater and many local businesses, such as sake breweries and soy sauce breweries, use the water of this land. Together with the town that has coexisted with "water," this festival allows visitors to appreciate the importance of water through the taste of liquid coffee. At the venue, same-day tickets with three coffee tickets and a special brochure can be purchased for 2,000 yen. It is accessible in about 20 minutes from Nagahama Station.
