About this event
Welcoming Takatomi Nobunaga, a leading and popular composer in Japan's choral world, "Works of Takatomi Nobunaga" will be presented together with Hideki Motoyama, a leading figure in choral conducting. Please thoroughly enjoy the "Nobunaga Sound" that directly stirs the listener's emotions within the rich acoustics unique to Gulliver Hall, featuring pieces such as "Nostalgia," which colors familiar Japanese songs with sophisticated harmony; "Songs of the Beginner's Mind (Shoshin no Uta)," selected by Nobunaga himself to conduct for this season; and the large-scale "Sousou to Hana wa Moeyo," conveying the vibrancy of life and burning passion. In this performance, they will also collaborate with the Takashima Boys and Girls Choir in a choral collection for children and adults. Please look forward to the clear, translucent sound woven by the rich voices of the Vocal Ensemble and the pure, straightforward singing voices of the children.
