About this event
A 'Rice Harvesting Experience' will be held in a rice paddy near Biwako Kodomo no Kuni in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture. This is a valuable opportunity to experience harvesting rice using a sickle. Through this experience, children can feel firsthand how food is produced. Participants will receive 1 go (approx. 150g) of delicious, freshly harvested new rice as a gift. It is an event where participants can learn the importance of food while being in touch with nature. Please note that the event will be cancelled in case of rain.
