Kameoka TOMOSHIBI Festival

About this event

Held around the north area of JR Kameoka Station, the "Kameoka TOMOSHIBI Festival" is an event that families can enjoy from afternoon until night. In addition to attractions such as character shows for children, inflatable bouncy castles, and a mini steam locomotive, visitors can also enjoy local sake tasting and a food market. Furthermore, a workshop to craft message lanterns filled with feelings of gratitude and a drone show illuminating the night sky are scheduled. This event is hosted by the Kameoka Peace Festival Hozugawa Citizen Fireworks Executive Committee, comprised of industrial organizations in Kameoka City, and is delivered as an "event filled with gratitude for peaceful daily life." On the same day, a 5-minute commemorative fireworks display celebrating the "43rd National Urban Greenery Fair in Kyoto Tamba" will also be launched to conclude the day's event.
