[Autumn Leaves / Best Viewing] Ruri Gorge

Located in Nantan City, Kyoto Prefecture, 'Ruri Gorge' is a scenic spot rich in nature with a maintained walking trail of approximately 4 km in total length. At the uppermost stream is Lake Tsuten, from which flowing water weaves between trees and rocks into deep pools and cascading waterfalls, creating beautiful scenery. During the autumn foliage season, it shows a vivid appearance different from usual, and many people visit seeking its breathtaking views. Along the promenade are waterfalls of various sizes, popularly known as the 'Twelve Scenic Views of Ruri Gorge.' It is a spot where you can enjoy autumn leaves while feeling the power of nature with your whole body.
