Let's Peek Inside Leaves - The Wonder of Leaf Veins

About this event

Held as a promotion event for the Children of the City of Science project, Let's Peek Inside Leaves - The Wonder of Leaf Veins offers a learning opportunity to convey the fun of science to the children who will lead the future. Co-hosted by NAIST (Nara Institute of Science and Technology) NASC, participants will use leaves to create frottage (a technique of transferring leaf patterns onto paper) and leaf vein specimens. The completed frottage artwork and laminated leaf vein specimens can be taken home. The event is divided into morning and afternoon sessions and is open to 1st through 6th grade elementary school students. Attending in clothes that can get dirty is recommended.
