About this event
'Kyoto Smart City Expo 2026' is an event bringing together the latest domestic and international technologies and services related to smart cities. The main theme is 'Regions and Industries Creating a Peaceful and Sustainable Future: Creation of an Ultra-Comfortable Smart Society.' At the venue, exhibitions covering fields such as the metaverse, smart factory/work, health/femtech, AI/big data, energy/smart life, and food tech will be held. In addition, seminars and symposiums on themes such as AI, DX, the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and decarbonization/energy will take place, alongside business matching opportunities including booth tours, startup pitches, and ideathons. Admission is free, but registration is required. It is organized by the Kyoto Smart City Expo Steering Committee, with Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto City, Kyotanabe City, Kizugawa City, and Seika Town among its members.
