Earth Music Festival in Forest of Kyoto 2026

About this event

A music festival broadcasting to the world from Kyotamba Town, also known as the nature- and food-rich 'Forest of Kyoto'. Please come to enjoy a wide variety of sounds and scents, including genre-spanning music centered around traditional Japanese instruments, traditional Japanese harmonies handed down in Kyotamba, and showcase performances by European visitors attending a Japanese Wadaiko Bootcamp in Kyotamba Town. This event is organized by Tentekomai Japan LLC as a Reiwa 8 (2026) Kyoto Prefecture Cultural Power Challenge subsidized project. It is part of Kyoto Prefecture's initiative supporting activities that revitalize communities through the power of culture and arts by leveraging Kyoto's diverse regional characteristics. It aims to foster pride and attachment among Kyoto residents toward their local culture and broaden the base of cultural and artistic practitioners in the region.
