"The 38th Naniwa Yodogawa Fireworks Festival" is a handmade fireworks festival planned, operated, and executed by local residents and lovers of the Yodo River flowing through the water city of Osaka. Aiming to be the "spark" for revitalizing Osaka, it is supported by donations from local residents, nearby companies, organizations, and shops. Featuring operation by citizen volunteers, its finances are supported by sales of sponsored viewing seats and local sponsorships. Continuing from last year, this year's festival will be held in October, scheduled for Saturday, October 17. Ticket details and various information will be announced on the official website as decisions are made. A "Fireworks Dictionary" compiling knowledge about fireworks and digest videos of past fireworks festivals are also available, offering a glimpse into the history and charm of the event.
