The 70th Moriguchi City Art Exhibition Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Municipal Incorporation

The 70th Moriguchi City Art Exhibition will be held, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the incorporation of Moriguchi City. This exhibition is held annually under the joint sponsorship of the city, the Municipal Board of Education, and the Moriguchi General Art Association, with the aim of advancing art and deepening emotional education for citizens. At the venue, works across a wide range of genres including Japanese-style painting, Western-style painting, sculpture, crafts, calligraphy, and photography will be exhibited, bringing together the masterpieces of citizens under one roof. The artwork submission period is from November 7 (Sat) to 8 (Sun), Reiwa 8 (2026), and the exhibition period runs from November 12 (Thu) to 15 (Sun), Reiwa 8 (2026). On the final day, November 15 (Sun) from 3:00 PM, an award ceremony will also be held at the Chubu Area Community Center. Details regarding entry regulations, artwork drop-off, and pick-up are publicly available, and everyone's masterpieces are warmly welcomed.
