About this event
Daito City Smilemination 2026 is a light festival held on the deck in front of JR Gakkentoshi Line Suminodo Station. The 2026 event period is scheduled from November 28 to December 25. In this illumination event created jointly with citizens and local companies, light displays gently connect the "town" and "people." The deck in front of the north exit of JR Suminodo Station features numerous fun attractions, including photo spots and illumination playground structures designed to spread smiles and happiness among children and all visitors. In addition, the event offers features for both adults and children to enjoy, such as corridors of light and interactive illuminations that produce sounds when touched. Furthermore, a Smile Wedding is also scheduled to be held, creating a special day. The venue provides diverse ways to enjoy beyond the light displays. Event details can be found on official websites and event information sites.
