Kanan Town 70th Anniversary Commemorative Danjiri Parade

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the municipal organization of Kanan Town, the Kanan Town 70th Anniversary Commemorative Danjiri Parade will be held, gathering local festival floats (danjiri) for the first time in 10 years. On the day of the event, visitors can enjoy the entire day with dynamic danjiri hauling as well as numerous food trucks and vendor tent booths. Along with the festival pulling chants (hikiuta) echoing through the autumn sky, this special event showcases the charms of Kanan Town where you can fully enjoy shopping and delicious food. The opening ceremony will be held from 12:30 to 13:00, and the parade will take place from 13:00 to 15:20. The event will proceed in the rain, but will be canceled in severe weather.
