4th JAPAN BEEF FESTIVAL in Kakogawa

Taking place on the Kakogawa riverside on September 4 and 5, 2026, the "4th JAPAN BEEF FESTIVAL in Kakogawa" is a large-scale gourmet event utilizing Kakogawa City's symbol, the "river" (kawa), and local industry, "meat" (niku). Local industry workers in the city will set up stalls, where visitors can taste various meat dishes from food trucks and BBQs. In particular, it is packed with projects allowing you to fully enjoy the appeal of Japanese beef, such as the "SHIKATA WAGYU AWARD," a meat dish menu contest using Shikata beef, as well as wagyu beef tastings and panel exhibits. Stage performances of dance and song, as well as interactive activities focused on meat and Kakogawa, are also planned, making it an unmissable event for families and gourmet lovers. The venue is Kakogawa Riverbed Dobutsu no Mori Plaza, about a 10-minute walk from JR Kakogawa Station.
