Tamba Sasayama Sake Festival 2026 / SakeFestival

About this event

A 2-day event where visitors can savor local sake and food ingredients of Tamba Sasayama. Local sake breweries will gather to introduce sake brewing by Tamba Toji brewmasters and present their respective sake. In addition to thoroughly enjoying Japanese sake, visitors can taste "otsumami" appetizers made with specialty ingredients unique to Tamba Sasayama. The venue will feature paid tasting and sales of sake proudly presented by each brewery, as well as food booths using Tamba Sasayama ingredients. There will also be talks by Tamba Toji brewmasters, performances of "Tamba-style Sake Brewing Songs," a sake tasting quiz contest, and a fun raffle exclusive to paid tasting ticket purchasers. Paid tasting tickets can be purchased at a discount with advance registration, which also includes an entry ticket for the fun raffle.
