The "Saiko Photo Touring Rally in Road of Ore 2026" is a photo touring event set in the Japan Heritage "Silver Mine Road & Road of Ore Penetrating Bantan" area, where riders discover local attractions on their own motorcycles and share them on social media. The biggest highlight of this event is the Akenobe Mine Exploration Tunnel in Yabu City, Hyogo Prefecture, where riders can experience riding a motorcycle inside a mine tunnel that is normally inaccessible. Riding in an extraordinary environment with dark tunnels and wet road surfaces will be an unforgettable experience for riders. In this rally, participants start from any location in Japan of their choice, freely visit at least five spots including designated checkpoints, photograph attractive locations in the "Road of Ore" area, and aim for the finish line by posting photos on SNS with designated hashtags. Rather than competing for speed, the event aims to enjoy touring itself while promoting local tourism spending and information sharing. In 2025, 237 motorcycles from 27 prefectures nationwide participated, with 80% of participants staying overnight in the region, contributing to regional revitalization. In 2026, the participant capacity will be expanded to 300 motorcycles. Participant benefits are also scheduled, such as motorcycle photo shoots inside the Akenobe Mine tunnel, a post-finish gathering "Finishers Meeting", and a "Goal Cafe" on the final day.
