The 'Himawari Hall Masterpiece Film Screening' will be held at Himawari Hall in the Ichikawa Town Cultural Center. Held as part of the 2026 Excellent Film Screening Promotion Project, two masterpiece films scripted by Shinobu Hashimoto, 'Darkness at Noon' (Mahiru no Ankoku) and 'The Chase' (Harikomi), will be screened on film. The admission fee is 500 yen to watch both films together. All seating is unreserved. Over-the-counter ticket sales begin on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM, and telephone reservations begin at 1:00 PM. Please note that tickets cannot be canceled after purchase or reservation. Telephone reservations are accepted only at the Ichikawa Town Cultural Center Management Office. The venue is Himawari Hall. Organized by Ichikawa Town, the Ichikawa Town Board of Education, and National Film Archive of Japan.
