Muraoka Double Full Ultra Running

Held in Kami Town, Hyogo Prefecture, "Muraoka Double Full Ultra Running" is an ultramarathon event offering multiple courses from 51 km to 100 km, allowing runners to take on challenges suited to their skill level. Usually held on the last Sunday of September, the 2026 event is scheduled for Sunday, September 27. The entry period runs from May 1 to May 31, 2026. The 100 km course has a capacity of 800 participants with an entry fee of 15,000 yen, the 88 km course has a capacity of 300 participants at 13,000 yen, the 66 km course has a capacity of 300 participants at 12,000 yen, and the 51 km course has a capacity of 600 participants at 10,000 yen. Time limits are set for each course: 14 hours for the 100 km and 88 km courses, 11.5 hours for the 66 km course, and 11 hours for the 51 km course. The maximum elevation difference is 960 m. The event venue is around Kami Municipal Muraoka Elementary School. This popular race attracts many runners not only from within Hyogo Prefecture, but also from the Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku, and even distant regions such as Tokyo.
