Kirigataki Waterfall Trekking (September Weekday Edition)

Japanese name:霧ヶ滝トレッキング(9月平日版)

📅 Thu, Sep 24, 2026

📍 Shinonsen, Hyogo

About this event

Kirigataki Gorge (Mikuradani River) never runs muddy, even during heavy rain. Kirigataki is a waterfall with a drop of approximately 65 meters cascading from the center of the vast Azuchi-iwa cliff, designated as a Place of Scenic Beauty by Hyogo Prefecture. In the gorge, lovely autumn flowers are in bloom, while crested kingfishers perch in the trees watching for a chance to catch char. Join this Kirigataki Gorge trek for an even more moving experience. The capacity is 30 participants, and reservations are required. The application deadline is Thursday, September 17. As the trail is rugged, this is an advanced-level course. The trekking takes place from 9:00 to 15:00. The meeting place is Ueyama Kogen Furusatokan.
