Tsubetsu Furusato Festival

About this event

A citizen-crafted autumn festival held along the town roads around Tsubetsu Shrine. Local shops and organizations set up booths, and a festival fair corner organized by the executive committee is also provided. On the second day, the Tsubetsu Shrine Autumn Annual Festival is held concurrently, featuring a magnificent procession of portable shrine parades, children's mikoshi, and horse dances (koma-odori) touring the town. Created unitedly by local residents, this heartwarming festival is an autumn tradition of Tsubetsu.
