About this event

The "30th Shiretoko Forest Gathering (Tree Planting Festival)" is an exchange event primarily aimed at residents of Shari Town and participants of the "Shiretoko 100-Square-Meter Movement." At this event, a tree-planting festival will be held to plant saplings in the movement's conservation area. Participation is free, and a free shuttle bus is also available. On the day, please bring shoes and clothing suitable for getting dirty, work gloves, rain gear, and drinks. Box lunches and drinks will not be provided. For those meeting and dismissing on-site, please gather in front of the Shiretoko Nature Center by 9:00 a.m. on the day. Same-day participation without prior application is possible, but writing your name and address at the reception is required.
