49th Mount Sharidake Road Race

About this event

Held in Kiyosato Town, Hokkaido, the "49th Mount Sharidake Road Race" is an exhilarating road race that runs along the foot of the magnificent Mount Sharidake. Events catering to a wide range of age groups and skill levels are prepared, including a half marathon, 5 km, 3 km, 2 km, and 1 km (parent-child), allowing participation from elementary school students to seniors together with family and friends. All participants will receive a finisher's certificate and a Kiyosato Onsen bathing ticket. In addition, after crossing the finish line, a lottery offering local Kiyosato specialties and a local food festival will be held concurrently, making it an event where you can fully enjoy not only the race but also the local cuisine and culture. There will be no on-the-day check-in, and race bibs will be mailed in advance. The application deadline is Wednesday, July 15, 2026, and all application registrations are handled online.
