About this event
Held in Totsukawa Village, Nara Prefecture, the '25th Subaru no Sato Fureai Story' is a Bon Odori dance festival held at Totsukawa Onsen Subaru no Sato Multipurpose Plaza. Among the 'Totsukawa no Oodori' registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage on November 30, 2022 as one of the 'Furyu-odori' dances, the Obara 'Oodori' will be showcased this year. The Bon Odori festival by dance preservation societies from various regions provides a precious opportunity to experience local traditional culture. In the finale, fireworks will also be launched, coloring the summer night sky. The event will proceed in light rain and be canceled in stormy weather.
