Set in Kamikitayama Village, Nara Prefecture, "22nd Hill Climb Odaigahara since 2001" is a 28 km time trial competition with an elevation gain of 1,240 m from Seiryu Bridge on National Route 169 to the Odaigahara Parking Lot. Challenging the course on a road bike or mountain bike is possible, with diverse categories available including general classes, team competitions, couples, parent-child, and kids' classes. A steep slope section prize is also established, inspiring participants' desire to challenge themselves. Check-in takes place the day before the event, and on the day of the event, participants start by class following the opening ceremony. It is an event where you can challenge your limits while enjoying the scenic views of nature-rich Odaigahara.
