Enjoy Wakayama's Fruit! Mandarin Orange Picking & Parfait Making Experience

About this event

An event featuring mandarin orange (mikan) picking and making parfaits with harvested oranges, held at "Kannon-yama Fruit Garden" in Kinokawa City, Wakayama Prefecture. You can savor delicious mandarin oranges grown on the sunny south-facing slopes of Mount Kannon. During the event, participants will first pick mandarin oranges in the orchard, enjoying all-you-can-eat oranges for 30 minutes in addition to 11 oranges to take home. Afterward, participants will move to Kannon-yama Fruit Parlor Main Shop to experience making original parfaits using the freshly picked oranges. Parfait sizes differ between adults and children, and colorful parfaits will be created using various ingredients such as seasonal fruits, whipped cream, and granola. The completed parfait can be enjoyed on the spot. This event offers a special day to fully taste the mandarin oranges that Wakayama is proud of.
