About this event
This walking tour takes participants along the Kumano Kodo Kii-ji route, a historic pilgrimage trail leading to the sacred Kumano region. The tour visits four of the 99 Oji shrines located in Inami Town: Kano-oji, Ikaruga-oji, Kirime-oji, and Nakayama-oji. A storytelling guide from the Inami Town Tourism Association Storytellers Division will accompany the group, providing explanations on the history of the ancient trail and the significance of the four Oji shrines. It offers a rare opportunity to fully enjoy history and nature amidst the pleasant autumn climate.
