Jabara Village Harvest Festival

This is Kitayama Village's largest festival celebrating the harvest of jabara. Centered around the local specialty citrus fruit 'jabara', this event allows visitors to celebrate the jabara harvest while enjoying the charms of the village. Along with the complimentary serving of wild boar soup (inoshishi-jiru) and various vendor stalls, unique activities such as a speed-drinking contest of jabara juice and a group jump rope competition will be held. In addition, stage events are scheduled, offering a packed lineup of entertainment. It is the area's largest festival where you can feel the flavors of autumn and the vitality of Kitayama Village.
