40th Tottori Sand Dunes Rakkyo Blossom Marathon & Walking

About this event

Set against the magnificent nature of the Tottori Sand Dunes, the 40th Tottori Sand Dunes Rakkyo Blossom Marathon & Walking features undulating marathon courses and scenic walking courses. Weather permitting, participants can fully enjoy the great outdoors while looking out over sprawling fields of blooming rakkyo (Chinese scallion) flowers, the clear blue Sea of Japan, and spectacular panoramic views of the Tottori Sand Dunes. This year, the walking course has been updated with an emphasis on ease of walking and excellent views. While the 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km marathon courses remain unchanged from last year, they are clearly presented so that first-time participants can easily understand them. This event allows participants not only to run, but also to experience the beautiful scenery and local appeal.
