About this event
This is a food event where you can savor the blessings of the sea and mountains of Saroma Town. At an open-air tent market with over 20 stalls, Saroma Town's local specialties will gather, including direct sales of farmed scallops and free distribution of pumpkin dumplings. Visitors can also enjoy a hearty jumbo beef barbecue and grilled Saroma Lake scallops with large, firm meat. With stage shows and a grand lottery with prizes totaling 1 million yen, it will be a deeply satisfying day of eating and fun. Usually bustling with nearly 10,000 visitors, this festival expresses gratitude for the bounty of Saroma.
